System installed about 4 yrs ago. Cust. just called and says system is shutting down couple times a day then restarting. Found error code MPR WDT OVERFLOW.
Everything I can find says to upgrade firmware. I got the firmware v8, but currently using V4. paper work says

-When upgrading an NS700 which is version 6.xxxx or lower the following procedure must be performed. Upgrading from version 6.xxxx and higher does not require this procedure.
Versions 6.xxx and higher require more memory than any previous versions. Due to this fact, you must run the NS700 New Firmware Prep Tool prior to upgrading any NS700 system. Failure to do so could result in a possible unrecoverable system failure.

Now here is the problem, I don't have the prep tool file. Tech support from where be bought from says don't worry about it I'm going to have to reprogram anyway. What do you guys think. Anyone have the prep tool file they can send me?

There is a prep tool for version 4, and a prep tool for version 6.

I have the documents for version 7 plus the release notes which cover Version 8 and 9.

For version 8:

For version 9:

Version 9.00.160 firmware is available and has been since Sept of 2022.

With Version 9 all features are activated therefore there is no longer a need to purchase feature licenses. I can provide the documents and the latest firmware if you like to a place where they can be downloaded.
