The new SDW series headsets from Sennheiser can be a bit tricky to set up on Verge phones if you want to use Electronic Hook Switch. Sennheiser support says you need an EHS cable, but this is not correct.
To set up:
On the bottom of headset charger, DIP switch 1 is in the down position and all other DIP switches are in up position (make sure no DIP switches are in the center position). ABC selector should be in the 'A' position. On the phone go into Settings > Phone preferences > EHS 'enable'
You will now be able to answer and hang up from the headset.

In the Allworx handset profile 'off hook auto answer' must be 'on' as well
