I'm going to get myself a wireless headset for my cell phone this Christmas. Mostly to be used while on the phone and typing, writing, connecting something. I never could hold the cell to my ear like I could a butt set. It will make those tech support calls a little more bearable. Occasional use in the car and truck.

Any suggestions on what brand and model to get, or avoid?

I have an LG HBS-835 that I use daily. I had an older LG headset and it lasted a few years. Both of them have been great!
