Dear Samsung Valued Partner,
We would like to inform that Samsung Electronics America (SEA) will be ending the sale of the OfficeServ and SCM Products as of September 30, 2019. The OfficeServ, SCME and SCM Compact Order forms will be retired on September 30, 2019.
The last day to order will be September 30, 2019; however, we will continue to provide support for these products. Technical support will continue until September 30, 2021. In-Warranty hardware repair will continue for 5 years from the date of purchase from Samsung. Last day for any warranty will be September 30, 2024.
Orders placed by our distributors by September 30, 2019, will be fulfilled to the best of our abilities and as supply lasts. Lead times are expected to be 8-10 weeks. Selected licenses will be available for 1 year from the End of Sale date for existing customer extensions.

Yea, this definitely sucks as we have a large customer base with Samsung systems installed. We are gonna jump ship to Avaya and see how that goes. We knew it was coming, just now it is confirmed. They definitely have let us down.

Looks as if NEC is swooping in to capture the dealer base left in a pickle.

If Samsung cares about their Dealers even a little bit then they should create a license key to unlock everything that requires a license purchase, just put the systems into permanent Tutorial mode.

That would be a smart thing for Samsung to keep their name.
We have supported Samsung for years.

Could not agree more! We went with Avaya as well and really like the product and support. Good luck!

This is important for anyone that has or is going to install a Samsung system. Its my opinion that everyone should have this information considering that we were told that Samsung was not going anywhere even though we saw this coming.

Barrontel, I agree. Good Idea. I have a customer with 3 sites and wants a quote for Spnet. Do I even bother? If they blow a processor down the road how do I Transfer the license?
With that said we are finally trained on and selling our own private label hosted system. Good news is the we are pulling out the Officeserv systems on these deals and will be able to support our existing base without scrambling for parts.
I know hosted is not for everyone so we have NEC available to quote out.
