I don't need to do this very often (once every 10 years or so!) but it's nice to have the stuff on hand. BTW, years ago when I did Transmission work, we had an Amp machine that made......28?.....30?... (I forget) pair amphenols. It looked like a standard Champ butterfly tool, just a tad larger. Same with the amphenols. We used it on the output side of the T-3 multiplexors to extend the T-1s out. We used some special shielded AT&T cable that came in 28? 30? pair.
