Apologies for asking this here rather than in the mobile phone section, but it seems that more people read the Booth.
Best "Dumb" cell phone, aka "feature phone?"
The dumber the better, but the ability to use SMS would be nice. Also, any recommendations for the best service?
Please move this topic if it can't be here. Thanks in advance.

I had an LG VX-9900 and then a 9800. It was a hybrid, so to speak. A flip phone that when opened, had a full QWERTY keyboard and a decent camera function too. The only reason that I don't still have it is that my boss insisted that we go with iPhones because they were free. That LG was bad-ass. I'd be willing to bet that you can get a 9900 on e-bay for peanuts. LG VX-9900 Picture
