I have seen threads regarding this error. the solutions said to make sure the call buttons are programmed. Well.....they are. I have a digital set (DS 5014D)that displays the CBT error along with a fast busy when trying to dial out. I tried to display the station data by entereing transfer + 108 and received Invalid Data Begin Again. So... I have an extension which is not located anywhere. I can't find the prot that it was on. Like I said, there are call keys assigned. I am using a 7400. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Scott

Does it display an extension number on an idle screen? If it does then you would be able to find out what port it was by cecking the station number plan.Alternatively can you trace the wiring back to the system and see where it's connected? What are you doing to dial out?Using DT keys or a trunk code ? How do you know there are Call keys programmed?

it does not display cabinet slot port when doing a tranfer 108. that is the wierd part. I understand the need for that. An extension is displayed on the screen. I know that there are call buttons assigned because I can use the installation tool and go to MMC 722 to make changes and view the button setup.
Thanks, Scott

Everythingstarted working again later on that day, July 10th. After I removed and added the CBT three times, it worked.
Thanks, Scott
