I have a service call to do at a walmart they have an s8300 avaya pbx and bogen 70 volt paging. they are complaining that when a page is done they hear it on all phones.i didn't do the wiring at this store anyone kinda have an idea i've never ran into this problem thanks Alain

Not sure what an S8300 is. But this does sound like a programming issue with the system, not a paging problem.
Perhaps move this to Avaya?

Hal its using a co port on the switch the page doesn't come out on the set its when someone is off hook that they hear thru the call kinda some interference

I'm sticking to my original story. There's a problem with the S8300. Are they using IP phones?

I don't know the s8300 but unless they are analog stations the problem is CO lines or KSU. Digital and Voip won't pickup crosstalk but can get interference. I would look at either a 70v line run to close to the KSU or CO lines. If the stations have OHVA then it could be coming from that.

i am going there tonight to replace an analog card that has problems on 2 ports the co port is on a different card will try that first and yes they are using ip sets its defenitly not paging thru the set i tried it myself i page nothing comes thru the sets it hasn't done it for me so i am replacing the 711card cause 2co trunks walhen i call in i get dead air will keep you updated
