In addition to the expansion board you also need COU boards or COU-D (dummy) boards on the expansion side of the KSU to match the two slots (CO) on the CPU side. Without these cards any stations on the expansion side cannot access CO lines on the CPU side.

Now that we've determined your cabinet is a 2460 & not a 1224, is the new card on the CPU side of the cabinet or the Expansion side?

Do you have some kind of boards in the CO slots of the Expansion side? If not that is going to be a problem if the problem.

Let me look. I didn't notice co slots to the left of the exp slot.

Yes there is two co slots on the left side of the cabinet. I guess I have to get one since I oply have 6 co's. Do I just slide it in or do I need to configure it somehow?

you just slide it in (COU-D) in slot that corresponds with 1st CO slot on CPU side, should be next to expansion board
