Has anyone had any experience using Allworx with Maximizer CRM? Any thoughts?

You might try to PM AWEAVER. I've talked to him on the phone and he has several customers with CRMs successfully integrated to the Allworx. I personally don't, but I have many customers using Outlook---and it works fine.
Allworx tech support seemed to indicate that they could probably integrate with most CRMs---although there might be some that they just couldn't work with. PM aweaver. Let us know how things work out.

Here's some more TAPI CTI info on how to click to dial from a browser. You will need an API to go between the Allworx TAPI driver and the browser. Look at www.callclerk.com or xtelsio.com as possible APIs. You can click to dial, do browser searches when calls ring in etc. Some programs can utilize Windows dialer. It is part of Windows XP/Vista/7 Callclerk.com allows you to dial any phone number in a firefox browser via your Allworx Deskphone.

I know this is an older topic - but has anyone had any luck with this? I have a 64 bit system and I have Outlook finding the Allworx TAPI no problems. When I go into Maximizer - The allworx TAPI is not an option in the list. This seems like a simple fit, similar to what they have done with Outlook. Thanks Chad

Call the Maximizer people. If they have TAPI integration, they can probably help you out. TAPI is the standard for most CRMs--however---there are some CRMs that need special programming. The Maximizer people would know if that needs to be done, or how it can be done. They should be able to assist you---they probably have run into this problem before with other IP systems with TAPI integration.

When I had this installation I believe that the Allworx did show up. Or at least I was able to select the TAPI driver I had set up in Windows.
There was a problem with Maximizer where it doesn't support TAPI on Windows 7. This was March/April when I attempted this. Maybe they've fixed this in a software update? I asked our client recently if he has checked in with the CRM people but he hadn't.

What I've learned so far, with the Allworx TAPI app, is that it loads quick and works good---but even with Outlook, there's a lot you have to check out and make sure that things in Windows & Outlook are set up right.

I was looking at the Maximizer information online - their support for TAPI... https://support.maximizer.com/scripts/support.cfg/php.exe/enduser/std_adp.php?p_refno=001207-000073Unfortunately this statement is at the beginning of it: WARNING! Maximizer Customer Support will not support configuration of Maximizer integration with TAPI beyond this article! You MUST obtain the services of a TAPI hardware specialist to fully configure your TAPI hardware system before obtaining the services of a Maximizer support representative. Seems like if I cant get it going, I am SOL. I wonder why things dont just show up in Maximizer... I find that in order to get to new features with Maximizer, you are constantly upgrading the software - happened to me when Windows 7 came around. I will see what else I can find. Thanks Guys! Chad

Another update for everyone with this... Maximizer confirmed that TAPI and Windows 7 is not compatible. I submitted a "feature request" for this idea - but I sure dont want to need an upgrade to get it.
If anything changes I will post it here.
