That is default at the Attendant station only. Use the DND key to toggle your ringing choices.

True, but if your system is set up to follow a timed schedule, that button flashes continuously. Mighty annoying from what I'm hearing.

well, that is where I was looking to put it on, we did use the DND and it stopped the ringing. but, i had to point it to an unused ext. This was installed today in a Convent, we were getting ready to leave and the Nun said " how do we turn off the phones at Night ? "...I have it set to ring a hunt group in Day mode, they don't really have Certain Hours...

Do they have voice mail or do they want the phone to not ring anywhere at night?

"User defined" is displayed in the laptop programming when a feature code is directly programmed on a flex button (one that is not in the standard drop down list). Since there's no direct feature or function to do what you're looking to do, it is unfortunately no real use to you.

Easy enough..teach them to do the DND +2 and ring an unused ext at night and the CO voice mail will pickup and no phones ring. At the start of the next day DND+1 and you're good to go.

well, we set it up to be DND + 3 ( on Demand ) and sent it to an Unused DIGITAL ext....and it Worked,
But, I Still think it should be able to be a 1 touch operation.

Think of it this way...How many calls have you gotten in your career about phone calls not ringing in and found out someone pushed the attendant's DND button, which set the system to night mode? At least that want happen with the SBX.

Good point Larry. We just had another one of those last week and due to the confusion of the customer, we actually dispatched a tech. Your response to this is going into my playbook an SBX enhancement to the feature.

I actually think the way the night service works on the SBX is better than the XTS. The auto function caused a lot of confusion when trying to override it. The SBX lets you override anytime you want to not just before the mode changes. The one thing I wish is that when the attendant presses dnd, the mode choices displayed on the phone.
