I'm setting up an SBX for a new install next week. First 3.5 I've touched. Vmail passwords are defaulted to match the extension numbers. In this case I'm renumbering the extensions to match their existing range (4xx).
For the life of me I cannot figure out where to change the vm passwords. Apparently no longer in Tables/Authorization codes. You can't change passwords in the mailbox either. I called tech support but I couldn't find what the tech was telling me to look for anywhere in PCAdmin (she made me feel pretty dumb about it too...).
I thought I had the latest version of PCAdmin, but now not so sure.
25 years in the biz and this SBX makes me feel like a beginner. I'll have more time later in the week to 'read the book' but can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

You enable passwords under Station attributes III (flash programming 113) and the user sets the password for the phone, which is the same for the voice mail in basic programming. This bit is in the user guide. The password can be set but without enabling retrieve message password in sta attributes, the pass word has no real effect.

I figured it out. Even though I uninstalled the old PCAdmin and installed the latest version for 3.5, apparently some files remained from the old install. I wasn't able to see the voicemail related menus (prg 127, 128, etc).
So, I uninstalled it again and re-installed it in a different folder and now have access to the new voicemail related programming menus.
