I found out how to get/backup/restore the greetings but don't yet know how to get the voicemail. Anyone know how? I know there's a a bunch of undocumented command line functions but getting this information is like pulling teeth.

I would suggest starting a new thread and giving a bit more information about the system snd the voicemail.
