Good Morning,
I need a little advice. I am running a Cisco 2610 router with c2600-i-mz.123-22.bin. I have a bri-4bu card installed now with a bonded 256k connection to the internet. If any of you are familiar with the Cisco 804 you know it has 2 pots lines. Since I switched to the 2600 I of course have lost my voice line on the main BRI.
What do I need or can it be done. I need to know what voice interface card I need to get pots to function. I know I will probably have to drop the bri-4bu card and switch to 2 wic-1b-u cards to free up the slot for a voice module. There are so many voice cards for the cisco it makes my head hurt trying to determine which one would work. I only need one of the numbers to support voice in/out. Call comes in BRI channel drops and reconnects when voice call is over.
If the 2610 is not capable I also have a 2620XM and a 2621 available to me.
I do not want VOIP lol!
Thanks everybody
