Hi, I just signed up for this board, thinking maybe you guys can help!
I have a 3com v3000 system and a 3com 4500 POE switch.
Everything is updated to the latest version.
The phone system is going out randomly. It will disconnect all phones, and display a blank screen for a period of 30 seconds before all of the phones boot back up. It does this several times throughout the day. It places your call on hold while the phone's are rebooting. The phone system doesn't go down and the switch doesn't go down. Please, can you help?

Can you isolate the problem? Try to put a phone on another switch to see what happens to it when this random boot up occurs. If that phone stays up---then you can surmise that it's the POE switch.

If this would be regular TDM switch I would check on Auto Maintenance schedule but I don't know anything about 3Com IP.
