If it frustrates and aggravates you so why do it ?

your right I cant understand the frustration ,life's to short even on hold ... ..I often have customers thanking me for my patience in dealing with them ....rather than teaching telephony 101 as long as I understand whats being asked I solve the issue ...

re read the thread I count 13 posts out of the 40 or so that add nothing ....

BTW "It's probably just an open cord lead, but I'm done here."

We all have our own style, I suppose.

Mine is to help when asked, and I have infinite patience with a person who tries to help himself.

The person asking, though, has an obligation to pay attention.

Accusing me of acting superior does not advance the cause, however.

Let's try to cut down on the name-calling, please.

Looks like the problem has been solved so locking this as it's gone on long enough. I think the best advice given was, if it gets to you just ignore it and move on.

Lots of folks stop by that don't know the proper terms. Don't forget many of people who come here have zero back ground.
