I have an 8 port iCMC in an IPX 3000 version 14.67 which is being used as an Auto-Attendant but the problem is that the iCMC won't transfer calls to extn's or boss groups which are busy even if the extn's are multi app or the boss groups lines are set to 6. Has anyone found a work around for this problem?

I would check the voice mail to make sure it will transfer when a set is busy. I beleive their is a setting for transfering to a set that is busy.

I am assuming this is an OS/2 Warp 4 (iCMC) system and NOT a WiCMC.

Yes, it's in the admin manual.

In the e:\vmail directory

***caution please know what you are doing

tedit cps.ini

In this file add:

[Telephony]
DisableQuickBusyDetect=1

Save and and do a nice shutdown and restart the system.

Also make sure in your mailboxes are set to Release and not Await Ans.

Good Luck
