I have installed and set up this card with greetings and mailboxes. The problem is when an outside caller dials an ext. when greeting is heard it rings 5x then bounces to the operator, instead of going to the users voicemail. It works properly in night mode just acts up in day mode. Thanks, Dave

Do you have call forwarding set up for the day mode on the G screen?

Yes, those parameters were set up previously. I guess I should qualify that I had a VXII voice mail system and installed an EVX voice mail card. After I had it all set up this is what is happening. Everything was fine with the old system in this respect. I have tried to figure out what the problem is but just cannot. I did double check and call forwarding is set up in day and night modes. Dave

What happens when you dial 436?
You might have to try changing some options on the "M" screen and possable get rid of the # in thhe mailbox transfer sequence.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

when I dial 436 it goes to the ccr box greeting. I watched with the c screen when I dialed from outside and it went to the ext number for 20 seconds then went to the operator.

Remove the transfer recall timer on the EVX SLT ports.

Was the VX2 inband or SMDI? If the VX2 was inband, did you change the G screen timers - VMS delay and Answer timers. I am guessing that at night the CCR goes directly to the mailbox (m) and does not transfer the call to the ext(e)? Check the com screen on the EVX to verify the digits are coming from the IDS.

All calls day and night start at a ccr then if a caller dials 3XXX they hit a type 14 box which I have as 2014. There is a menu that is played that gives options like for a custodian press X for the athletic director press X etc. There is a different ccr for day and night. The VX2 was plugged into the rs232 port 1, and was set for /SMDI.

Not knowing more than what you have written so far, is the EVX the same port size as the VX2? Can you manually transfer a call into the EVX? Both the day CCR and the night CCR have digit 3 going to the 2014 mailbox? In night mode do you fwd all calls to VMS or do they get a chance to ring on the exts? At a glance it does appear to be a fwd issue. Have you reviewed the line setup screen - correct ext number, comm port, run mode and so on?
