I'm just looking to get my hands on a system or two that I have no experience with. So If anyone has some old dumpster bound systems, or really really cheap systems they want to get rid of, let me know (for the love of god, no 1A2, I'm working on getting my 1A2 equipment shipped out to someone (cost of shipping only) already!)
I saw the Vodavi system listed here, but it looks like I got beat to it (the sets at least, and the system isn't much use without them!).

I'll think about it then...$40 for shipping seems steep...I acutally found a bunch of older, cheap systems (a Tie for $.01, no phones though)......hate to break it to 'ya, but a Nortel is gonna set ya back at least a copule hundered....very nice system though, I had one at home for a while.

Yup...Nortel is expensive....but Nortel is also the Western Electric of the modern times...rock solid. If you want a simple system you mentioned, just go with a Merlin, Tie, etc. Try a Vodavi Starplus 308ex, 616ex, 616 flex, or 1224ex. Does everything you mentioned, a little more too. Very well made too., I've got one installed at home and I like it a lot.

Well...I'd be tempted to go with the Merlin system. It will be very easy to find help with it, not so much with the Omega. I figure the price on the Merlin will go up, though.
