Greetings,
We're running a DXP w/ software 17D. When using the CFOS feature, the RNA rings setting is applied right up until the call gets CFOSed to my cell phone.
What happens: RNA Rings is set to (4). After four rings to my extension, the CFOS becomes active, and 6-7 rings later my cellphone voicemail answers.
Is there a timeout setting (I'm missing) that will recall a CFOS call and drop it into the local voicemail?
Thanks in advance. -sid

What are you trying to do with the call?
Are you wanting to send it to your cell phone and if it does not answer pull the call back and send it to your in house vmail system?
If this is the case, This can not be done. Once you cfos the call it is gone.
It will not follow any of the RNA timers.
Try the find me follow me feature.

Thanks for the reply BIGDOG.
We're running Keyvoice DOS... version 8.something. Find me follow me is in the newer voicemail versions, right?

Correct on the find me follow me.
You might be able to us ethe voicemail to do what you want.
We set the voicemail boxes up to transfer to cell phones all the time.
We leave it up to the caller and use the option 3 out of the voicemail box.
example "I am not at my desk, if you want to leave me a vm message press 1 or to xfer to my cell phone press 3" then send it to a mailbox that xfers to the cell number. put the cell number in the transfer to field. you will have to mess around with the pbx xternal transfer codes a little.
If you can make a single line telephone tranfer then you can make a voicemail transfer. just takes a little tweaking.
