Thanks DND, good info there. I guess maybe I was trying to plan too big in regards to the ext. #'s. We have 60-70 people at the largest site. I just didnt want a small 30 ext. cushion to limit future expansion.
I would love to take a peek at your templates. At this point, anything would be helpful in visuallizing a plan.

Most modern systems, including Mitel, should be able to know if the caller is pressing 1 for option 1 of the Auto Attendant (callers menu), or is starting to dial an extension starting with a 1. The system waits for a predetermined amount of time before deciding that the caller is done pressing digits.

Got the auto attendant all figured out. Thanks guys. I was making it a harder job than it should have been. It's just a big project and my butt is on the line.

You may check with The Real PBX VoIP. They are into VoIP services. I have been using their services for the last two hours. They claim to provide solutions you are looking for.

I have been using their services for the last two hours. hey its worked for two whole hours ...quite a endorsement think it will stay up for four ?
