I recently purchased a used Startalk Flash 4 and received the unit with no power supply. According to the label on the unit it reads 24VAC 16VA, the installer's manual says 24 VAC to 30 VAC rms across pin 1 and 3, and on-line detail I have found shows +5 VAC and .6 amp. None of this shows polarity - don't know if it matters. Questions: If I cannot locate the Norstar power supply, where can I purchase one? If I cannot purchase one, I have found a power supply (although the connector would need to be fabricate) that has 24VAC, 1000mA output. Would this system work? Does it matter the polarity across pin 1 and 3? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Charles
