I upgraded to FireFox 2.0 a few days ago and have had no problems as of yet.
One of the first things I noticed is that if you have the google spell checker installed it works kind of like spell check does in ms word, meaning it underlines in red anything it thinks is misspelled.
Another neat feature is that you can preview the smiley faces if you have Smiley Xtra4 installed.

I agree, it's great. Also I like the tabs feature, especially having multiple sites open, and having all of them restart when you open Firefox again.

Just downloaded it on to the new laptop...along with IE7. Works great but there aren't many extensions or themes available...but I am sure that will change with time. The "colored" tabs is a great add on too. IE7 on the other hand...is about the worse thing I have seen from Microsoft...talk about just spreading out the buttons and putting them anywhere...I want my "home: "reload"....etc.....next to my back and forward nav buttons....stupid upgrade if you ask me.

Bobby, I've got Firefox 1.5.0.8, and when I ask it to check for updates, it comes back and says there are none! How did you get yours to update?

I spoke to soon. Firefox 2.0 crashed on me tonight. Since there are not any real improvements over 1.5, and more themes and extensions are available for 1.5, time to switch back.

I have also had 2.0 lock up on me. nothing consistant but it seems pretty close to 1.5 which I was using for a while. have you looked at IE 7.0. I hate too admt it but I think I like it better.
