According to the customer, the system resets 3 or 4 days a week around 9am then is fine all day long. They say the phones all go down, no time/date in the displays and then come back up 3-4 minutes later. I looked online and there looks like there is a newer firmware of 2.11P available, but the upgrade only has fixes for PVA and VOIP issues. I was on site today and had the covers off the system and it did not reset. Wondering if overheating could be an issue? Room is temp controlled and fairly cool but these cabinets are packed full of ESI-16 cards. Any thoughts? D

I would also check the UPS and power supply and see if it is failing also.

I have had a couple of IPK2's with reset issues... 1st was a power issue. 2nd I took a backup of the database then defaulted the CPU, then reapplied the database.. the system has been stable for 3 months now.

No resets since removing the covers a few weeks ago.

Sounds like a heat issue. Had a IPK2 system here where the PRi would stop working. Found that the temp inside the chassis was about 35c. Took the covers off and the customer put in an small aircon unit and never had a problem since..

I have had heat issues on some of my sites. It seems the cabinet, whether an IPK or IPK II, it doesn't like it if it is too hot, cold or moist.
