Thanks for that last post. I installed the system today. The manual is confusing in that it lists features I need, but then the section seems to refer to peripherals issues and not what I directly need. Can you tell me the program to- 1. Program the flex keys for stations on the 16DD so the phones have station appearances? 2. Time/Date for all phones. 3. Port 00 FNC key is flashing, and the display says 00:DND. How do clear that?
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks for the help. In that whole huge manual, there is no simple user guide with this info. Glad you are here.

I am here at the job 1:04pm EST. The code you gave me to delete DND (FNC 60 FNC) seems to set the DND not take it off. Did I miss something?

Also, the button for that phone is blinking on the feature keys of other phones indicating that it is in DND mode. When you press the key anyway, it says 00:DND instead of 101. Why is that?

FNC 60 FNC turns it on and Off. It shows DND because DND is On. Do you have a EPI or EPII. The EPI is 2 Digit Stations. (101)?

This is the EPII. Several of the stations now have DND flashing and no one activated DND. The display in all of those says 00:DND. The station numbers are 101-124.

On Those Phones, with the handset Down, Press Speaker, Dial 42, press Speaker. This Thread was for the EPI.

Sorry, this is the first NEC I've installed and did not know the difference. I am a Toshiba/Nortel/Avaya man. Your info did the trick, and all is working. Can you tell me how, when they use the intercom key, they can answer hands-free without picking up the handset? And where can I get a user guide for these folks? I'm sure they will be happy to buy one. And I won't need to pester you on this forum.
