Is there anyone out there that has info on either the DebugTerm or DIM and how to use it?
It would be ideal to know via a term window whether a phone is in DND or if the MW lamp is on.

Is there a way to see PRI status with the DebugTerm?

I have very sparse info on the DebugTerm.
To logon to the DebugTerm: Username: monimoni Password: hihi
There is one thread in this forum which explains how to display T1/ISDN Layer 2/3.
I'm looking for any more info on what can be done thru either DIM or DebugTerm.

Anyone up there get frustrated by the lack of ISDN info on the 8100 blades or on the software interface. I see that blade status info appeared on the 8300 after the techs complained about it. I just had a tech working on a PRI for the past 8 hours trying to convince the telco that the problem was theirs not his but without any visable info it was hard going..

I have complained about the lack of status info on the SV8100 PRI blade. NTAC told me they are working on a document to interpret the alarm status led on the CP-00. I would like to see some more status on the PRI blade. The ISDN de-bug trace is an invaluable tool & I use it all the time to prove telco is the source of trouble.

Hey phoneline tech, can you post a sample of the output and tell us what you look for?

I'm not sure I can post the text document here, the website is blocking me.
FYI, I always confer with NTAC after an ISDN de-bug trace just to make sure I am interpreting it correctly.

Found it. There's actually a very good Maintenance document that was put out by NEC on the SV8100. Should work on the IPKII as well. It's the SV8100 Maintenance Manual. If you can't find it on NTAC's website, email me and I'll send a copy. My email is [email protected]
