Has anybody here installed a KeyVoice Interchange vmail behind an NEC 2000 or IPK?

If you have, can I get a copy of your notes?

Is there any comments good or bad about the integration?

Did you use SMDI?

Thanks in advance!

Any responses offline? I supplied a W2K Interchange (10.4?) system to a guy who put it on a 2000 or 2400 using SMDI. I know he used SMDI because we had to add it to the key. He used to help us out on an as-needed basis with various NEC questions and problems, and he used to work on some Key Voice voicemail systems. Now he works for a company where he manages or works in their IT department. There, he is also responsible for the phone system, with which he is very familiar; after all, he built it from ground-up. If you absolutely can't find anyone else, I could try and look him up and see if he would be okay with you calling him with whatever questions you might have. Let me know.

None yet.

We are kicking around this idea and was just trying to get a head start on the SMDI. I figured if somebody else has spent the time to research this and was willing to share, It would save me some R&D time.

I may take you up on that if I get stuck.

Thanks!!

FYI, I believe that I am the guy that 5years&counting was referring to. I have a Key Voice Corporate Office, 12 port, linked to 2400IPX via SMDI. I definitely have some battle scars from getting this thing hooked up. If you have any questions please let me know. I will give you copies of my setup files for your review and I'll be happy to answer any questions if I can.
