There isn't one. The Starplus 1224 has no voice mail integration. Tell the customer its time for an STSe.

Well, it can be "sort of" be done using supervised transfer and single line adapters. It's not pretty, but it is possible. I'll have to check on the MWI on/off codes tomorrow though. It's been a long time.
Oh, and ditto on the STSe suggestion.

Nope, unless you can come up with the user manual for the SLA, you will not find it, the code (if there is one) is not documented anywhere else.

I found the user's guide for it! The procedure for message waiting is:
1. Dial the extension desired; receive no answer or busy signal; 2. Generate a switch hook flash; 3. Dial 44 then go on-hook.
(Note that there is no MW light OFF command. It is automatically canceled when the station presses their message wait button.)

Thanks for the info, I already had the 44, what is confusing is what the vm uses for dialing ext #, hangup, and dial 44. I know from the dispatch book, they use * # , & @ext and x,for commands but can't find the right dial string.

Try Ext,&44 for the message wait set command. Note that everything is case-sensitive in registry values.
