They are definitely using the same mold from the IP phones for the new TDM phones on the SBX. Keep in mind that they will only work with the SBX, so there's absolutely no backward compatibility with the STSe. I've been told that once this system takes off, the STSe will be discontinued. That's fine for future new sales, but I am concerned about support for existing STS installations. The general consensus is that the STS product line's life will end around the end of this year. That's a shame, seeing as how this is one of Vodavi's most successful product lines ever introduced. I'd like to see it live forever. From what I have been told, there are no plans to change anything with regard to the XTS family of systems and that's a good thing. Ed Vaughn, MBSWWYPBX

That's 1 thing I always hated about the STS is that I get underbid by a guy working out of the trunk of his station wagon that has never had any training on Vodavi. I hope it is a dealer product. Lately the time waiting on hold before someone picks up has been horrible as well! Ive got a cheat sheet for everything accept for the ip part. Wish I could help ya!
