Toshiba Strata CIX
Am I missing a step?
I have assigned a DSS key with an extension. So that it rings the secretary and the owner, but only the owner of the extension can pick it up. I want the secretary to be able to pick it up. I hope this makes sense.
thanks, nhbilly

DSS keys don't ring on a Toshiba. You'll need to make a secondary DN(s) of the boss' extension on the secretary's phone and make it ring.

Well the light on the secretary's phone blink but it doesn't ring. Is it possible to make it ring? I already checked the Immediate Ring but nothing happens.

Erm, that one is based on the Strata DK series. But if your system is a CTX, then this would not apply.
The port that its being mentioned is the physical port of the extension you want to ring as indicated on program 04 on the Strata DK sereis.

double click on the specific DN key under keymaps and there you can choose no ring, immediate, delay 1 or delay 2

Currently its at no ring but when I set it to ring immediate or delay the secretary's phone will not ring or flash, but if I leave it on no ring it flash but won't ring.

Are you using Winadmin or eManager to program the switch?
