ok when you say intercom # you mean ext. correct? if so then yes he has an intercom # and would like to have another intercom #. I'm assuming it was purchase from a dealer. I've only been with this company for 4 month and everything was in place.

Do not create an ext 232. At ext 264, you create a Key with a Phantom DN (PhDN) of extension 232. When people call ext 232, the phone will ring (if you have ringing set on the button) and the PhDN light will flash. The Phanton is created as soon as you create a key.
If you want it to call forward, you have to set that up under Phanton DNs; + VMID code, and owner. You can add a PHDN message waiting (PhDN MW) button if ext 232 is going to have a different voice mail.
I haven't used Pilot DN's much except for ACD, and to ring VM with different VMID codes, but they are complete virtual extension numbers. They don't appear anywhere. Create pilot DN ext 232 with an alternate DN of 264 and it should ring at 264.
