Hi,

I'm an IT manager in an animation studio in Israel. We have a Telrad system S-128 SB6.04 system here that was left in the building when we moved in, and I would like to change some of the settings for some of the extensions.
From reading the posts on this forum, I understand that I have to use Telrad's software for that. Is that correct? If so, which version do I need and where can I get it? Will a regular RS232 cable (the one that came with my Cisco switch) will do to connect?

Thanks,
Ofer

You need a program called DkeyBX ver sb6.xx

I think you have to make a serial to rj45 to connect to it. Never heard of a reg rs232 working on a Telrad.

Many on this site can hook you up with a programmer kit that is fairly inexpensive.

BTW - Don't forget that the 128 is fully upgradable, you can even keep the existing phones!!

The problem isn't dialing in it's the damn red tape to send anything out of the country, it's just a great big PIA.
