I have 2 Telrad digital phones. model # 79-420-0000/b multi line. I would like to remove them and add 2 cordless phones. Can somebody direct me down the right path? I was told by our phone service that I would have to purchase Telrad cordless phones. Is that correct? If not could you suggest models and where to purchase them?
Thanks. Scott

It is correct that you have to buy telrad cordless phones to be digital. But you have other options. I wouldn't buy the tracker phone. Don't get me wrong, The phone worked but I found that if you get a sinlge line card (ONS or SLD) you can get any analog cordless phone you want. The cards come in 4,8,and 16 ports.

Or if you really want wireless take a look at the Avanti 3040. But you will need to be at release 7 or above to use them. The Tracker was a very good phone in its day but they are not made anymore.

The Tracker Digital cordless has been discontinued for over 5 years. Good luck finding a good unit on the used market
