Is there any problem upgrading old eld cards to a ver. 4.2 chip and are they easy to get

There easy to get but why are you updating, are you updating the MPD and VER. as well?

Telrad recommends updating all software eproms and flash chips if upgrading software levels and suggest all eproms be matching and be the latest version.
For your ELD's that would be 4.5

Yes it is now a ver 3.03 need to move from 128 to 400 with latest ver.
Do you have any lock getting hold of someone at telrad tech support is bad and salesman dont return calls.
