HELP - When trying to install VM version 6, after answering Y to the "dial 1 for toll calls" question, I get the following error and the installation hangs.
illegal open 2 smdr param
path not found
Also, anyone have the new (7.04 I think) Imagen software?

Not sure, It's some kind of conflict with the SMDR programming, Do you have the SMDR key installed to the back of the unit?
You need to get with SSphone on this one, he is the man when it comes to the Voice Mails.

Sorry so long for reply took friday afternoon off. What operating system are you using. Dos6.22 or Win 95?

Thanks for responding. The original install where the motherboard failed was vm 7.04 on win95. I also have ver 6 for dos on a different hard drive, but that's where I got the above error. There is no hw key installed on the original machine.

It lives! I went into the bios and set all the open irq's to isa/legacy and "poof", it started working. Appears to be using 10 and 15. Maybe this will help someone else in the future.
