I inherited a Telrad Digital PBX with ImaGen Voice Mail when I came to work in Denver.

Naturally, there are no manuals to found other than the Avanti phone set books.

I've figured out how to maintain the PBX itself; moving units, adding new extensions, deleting extensions. I've even created new voice mail boxes.

Recently, I swapped two pieces of equipment an E30 digital and an M30. After the switch, I can't get either of the extensions to go to voice mail on external calls. I tried blowing away the mail box for one of the extensions and recreating it. It didn't help.

Any suggestions??

Can you go to there voice mail internaly? If so check and see if they are set to internal only. That would be the user end of the programming.

Internal calls seem to find the voice mail boxes OK.

Thanks!!! That was it! I had created the new extensions and sent them nowhere. Sometimes it's the simplest things
