For this unit the Quick Startup Wizard asks for the Attendant DN, among other parameters. Is that the same as the Call Pilot DN ? Is it the CICS Attendant DN ? Do I assign that number ? Does it default ? If so, to what ? If I leave it out of the Quick Wizard, do bad things happen ? Is there a place to fill it in afterward ?

The CP DN is assigned by your CICS/MICS on port A; attendant DN is the "0" that people dial.

you can skip that step and put it in later or leave it blank

Yes, I'm a frenchie; have a problem with that?? Well, I do!!

By default its a first ext.21, 221 or 2221 depends on numbering plan.If different you can find that in System programming > Direct dial. The easiest way is to dial 0 from any phone and see which one is ringing.

jmic,
The Mods have been reviewing your posts and questions.

You have repeatedly shown very limited knowledge of Nortel products. I think it's time to open the books/take a course. Tech Talk is not here to teach you to be a Nortel technician. This is an end user and basic installer forum only.

I hope you are not charging for the services you are providing. If you are, it very unprofessional to call yourself a Nortel telephone technician.
