I have an option 81 with pri's - outgoing caller id works great for all my did's - i have 10 numbers that are not did's and it still sends out caller id for these numbers but the caller id belongs to another customer since these are not did's - i.e. these are extension 5100 to 5109 and they are not did's but they send out 519-555-5100 - would like my main number to go out for these - any ideas

I don't know much about this but here goes...
What does your TN printout look like? Does it show:
KEY0 5100 NNN (NNN being any digits) KEY1 etc. KEY2 etc.
The way I understand it the NNN refers to a table which contains outgoing CID info. If you take the NNN part out, the PRI should send the default CO info with the calls.

You need to set up your CLID table. Print your CLID in LD 21. You build it in LD 15, like demonstrated below.
Ld 15 chg net_data (customer #) ..enter down to CLID prompt CLID response is "yes" <enter> <enter> ENTRY : (number for the CLID entry) HNTN - (area code) HLCL - (CLID you want displayed XXXXXXX) DIDN - NO ... keep entering and you're done.
THIS EXAMPLE WILL DISPLAY THE AREA COUND AND YOUR MAIN NUMBER. I am not at work, but I am pretty sure if you want it to just display the users DN, then do not set the HLCL and make DIDN=YES
Thanks in advance!

Sorry about that... I posted my print outs.. Look below and this is how you should set your tables.
ENTRY 0 HNTN 519 (Area Code) ESA_HLCL ESA_INHN NO ESA_APDN YES HLCL 555+MAIN EXT. (Your main # will show) DIDN NO (Do Not append DN to CLID) HLOC LSC CLASS_FMT DN
ENTRY 1 HNTN 519 (NPA) ESA_HLCL ESA_INHN NO ESA_APDN YES HLCL 555 (NXX) DIDN YES (Your DN will be included) HLOC LSC CLASS_FMT DN
You can print your tables in LD 15 and they may be flip flopped.
Then look at the TN for ext 5100 and look at key 0. The digit after the DN is your CLID table identifier.
EXAMPLE Key 0 scr 5100 0 (This would display your Main#)
Key 0 scr 5100 1 (This would show your DN)
Hope that helps...
Thanks in advance!

I am wondering if anyone knows how to associate a name with a CLID entry.

If you have PRI's you could talk to your CLEC vendor to see if they can pass you name from LD 95.
Or if its on DID you are trying to name, also talk to your provider.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the help - it worked great - as far as name goes - it is my understanding that it cannot be passed that way in US. The carrier can add name's for you to each DID in the national data base.
