Gentlemen, Mr. Patel from the local Knights in called concerning an issue that he is having with his Mitel SX-200. Extension 102, can make outgoing calls fine. If you call the room from external or internal the call drops dead with no ringing at the station port. The other ports on the station card ring with no problems. Please assist if possible. Peace, Dave

Is this a 9110-110 card? Sounds like ring trip, need a replacement card.

Yep, or move to an unused port on another card. Replacement is better, as they are so cheap (I'm assuming analog from Mr. Patel).

Peace, Dave don't assume its a ring trip pull the cross connect and clip on the that port on the frame and have someone ring you back or call from the test line to true out inside wiring....

County wide has a valid point, it can be the wiring, the jack with 'green fuzzies', the line cord, or even the phone itself! That said, 99 times out of 100, it is the station card if it is a 9110-110! John C.

Especially in hotels. The jacks get alot of moisture and corrosion that will cause ring trip when the ring voltage comes through. As john says 99 out 100 its the station card! Jason

This should probably be a new post, but here goes. How many Mitel guys on here have only motel experience with Mitel? How many have experience in other user bases with Mitel? You know, doctor, lawyer, indian chief. And setting 1 up for your own company's use doesn't count. John C. (Not Garand)
