I ran into an issue at work today. I absolutely needed to gain access to the other-side of a door to finish my installation: View the pictures and guess how I solved the issue:

Slapped a magnet on the door unit?

Open the door, sound the alarm, wait for an "authorized" person to respond, tell them you need to get to the other side, and would they please turn off the alarm?

Took the sign off the door--opened the door---then when the alarm went off, shrugged shoulders and said "Whaaa???"

I'm still going with my idea. I think what we see is just the bracket.

ha I miss read."guess how I gained access"..so you removed the magnet and contact??.....You do know that the contact has a built in tamper switch right.....SO even if the alarm did not sound the tamper went off somewhere
I Swear I did not touch anything

Actually the door wasn't an issue...I just liked that everything was removed except for the housing (and sign).
This location is a small Church/School/Community Center/Non-Profit/et cetera... and the nice lady in-charge told me that none of the security worked except for the signs that keep people from wandering where they shouldn't be.
