OS7200 MCP = v4.30d

Trying to get VM to transfer call to external destination.

DDI - 539 - Menu (Money AA) - Option 5 - 3505

Ext 3505, Supervision level = partial

Call rings external destination for 8 seconds then brings call back to VM.

If external destination answers call within 8 secs call lasts.

Any idea how I can get it to ring at external destination for a longer period.

My bad I gave info that was not correct.

In the off premise station block what is the timer set for?

Before Listening = 75
Before testing loop = 400
After loop current drop = 10

Initial sounds ignored = 1
Rings for no answer = 4
Busy cycles for busy = 3

I have tryed increasing "Rings for no answer" to 99 but still only rings for 15 secs. Also I get no ringing when the other end is rining

Make sure icm external forward is on for that extension and external forward delay timer is "0". This is how I have set it up in the past.

I don't understand how rings for no answer increased the time from 8 seconds to 15.

You should be using off premise for this. =>CP 9:22.00.29 1) Using [STN On Premise] station block
Have you tried using the dial block and adding your number there? I have always had good luck with dial blocks.

Have just tried using the Dial block. When call are answered they last, but unanswered calls (calls that just ring) last for 20 seconds before returning back to the vm. Anything I could try to increase the ringing?

Go into the Station block and change the number of "Rings for no answer" on page 2. You can also adjust the noise tolerances on that same page.
