How do I allow a station to dial long distance on a comdial 2264. It is at a school and they want one class room to be given access to long distance dialing.

Depends on how your programming it, by terminal or dss.

If I remember right:
Enter program mode, enter station 0XX, press C25 on DSS and it should clear all toll from that station. Going by memory here as I would have to round up the old manual to be sure but I think it's right. If I'm wrong some will pop in and let us know

Yep. Bet it still works almost trouble free too. I still carry the manual for it in the truck, still have 1 in use. If you need the programming manual for that part, PM me. Was a great system, just didn't do all the bells & whistles everyone thinks they need.

Cool! I love hearing about these old tanks still out there humming away. 20+ years is pretty damn good for a electronic key system. I surprised the keypads still work. We used to paint new contacts on the rubber using the kit Sandman sold. Never worked too well though...

dtmf,
I tried that, all seemed to follow what the manual says as far as beeps and what not, but no go. I double checked that I was on the right ext. Can you change the ext numbers on this system so they no longer match the EQ numbers. I didn't think you could.

Did you enter program, then press C41, enter station port 0XX, press C25, press * Monitor to exit programming.
I have the manual out now and that's what I'm seeing as far as taking it off.
And no you couldn't change the station numbers.I did most all my programming on the 22XX with a terminal but in a pinch would use the station and dss and it always worked.
