Hi All, I need the PC System Admin. Software compatible with the ver 02.11.05 system software on a DS1000 80200 cabinet without any expansions or voicemail cards installed. I am trying to setup 3 CO lines and have the system operate 7 extensions (3 w/Displays and 4 without). I need help with programming the system, so I figured the easiest would be the PC program. I bought the system from a office that was closing down so I thought it would be a great deal to set this up in my small office. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Can someone point me in the right direction or knows where I can aquire the compatible software. Thank you!

What kind of business are you in?Most of the Guy's on this forum don't need the practice,We like making a living doing what we do.I just wondered what type of business your in that can afford to give away your knowledge and expertize and still eat, I'm sure there is a tech in your area that could set it up for you very reasonable.

Gene, I apologize if I have offended you in anyway in my request for information. I am not trying to get a job done for free. I have helped alot of customers with problems free of charge. I can relate to what you are trying to say in your comment. I am trying to install this system as a gift in a small office where the people there were very good to me in a time of need. I though it would be a great treat for the secretaries there to update their phone system somewhat. I have wired the whole system, I just need to get the programming done. At this point, I really cant afford to pay an installer somenting like $120/hr and spend like 4hrs doing it. Like I said before I bought the system off a friend and I am installing it as a gift, the hardware part is simple for me, but the programming end is a bit much at this time. And by all means, could you please tell me what a reasonable price to you would be to program the setup I currently have so that I can you use it as a reference point. I will try to contact some local installers and see what they tell me.

I can't speak for others but I could program the system and instruct you how to use it in an hour! Unless you want to spend the time to read the manuals , just hire a tech!! Also you could upgrade the cpu but you make sure you got the right digital station cards or you would need to upgrade those also.

Derrick it is a very easy system to program from a phone,it shouldn't take as stated earlier ,more than an hour, Groundstart---------Since he is in your neighborhood you could lead him through the install over the phone.
