I just want to know....... What other boards are you guys talking about? and think about this.

Sundance sells products how do you think they make there money and keep this board going ? (will power)?
If some one wants to buy they can post it and we can advise them to look at the top of the page.

OK, so the guys who run this could think over what they want to do. I'm not in charge but I throw out suggestions to examine and evaluate, accept or discard.

It seems rational that either they want to sell what they have and their shouldn't be a buy and sell.

Maybe it is a big expense to keep this up or maybe it is not a big expense, I have no way of knowing.

Maybe this should be just a help board with no transactions.

Maybe Sundance should have more advertising on these pages and the people who sign on just to find a solution for this or that will see their advertising.

Maybe there should be a buy/sell thing for installers that end users don't see. For instance, I have a customer who wants to sell a used intertel access and it is not refurbed and would be good for cards and spares for an installer but I would rather not sell it to an end user because I am not intertel certified and the phones have not been buffed and polished. I would rather sell that stuff to an installer if one wants to buy it.

I recently had some ESI phones to sell and the brokers wanted to pay from $xx to $xx a phone brand new and I didn't know what they were worth. Someone on the board advised me and they went for $xx each. Trading with another installer is better than giving them to a broker for nothing.

Why don't the people who run the board make a decision and we just be happy with it? Is that not cool?

Just sit tight and see what comes of it. I think all comments are being considered. Keep in mind posting prices of any kind is discouraged.

You know this may cause a major outcry because of the neverending war on junk email, but I feel like a get a lot of this board. I wouldn't mind a weekly email blast from Sundance with specials etc.

Just a thought.

Why is posting prices discouraged?

You can't compare like to like when disount houses or ebay sell things below cost with no warranty or established creditability. Don't want someone to buy something way below market and blame it on this board when it doesn't work, or they have to spend more to get someone knowledgeable to install it. They can contact via pm or email one of the many installers on this board to get pricing and product info.

I'll change the Category heading to
"Buy/Sell Telephone Equipment"

We do need to watch it and make sure folks don't use the category for their store.
