The LCP become the Firmware from MP or MCP over the UART Link cables.
No Data and no Firmware exist on LCP.
Only Boot EEproms on the Board present, what is your issue ?
The most issues with boot LCP / or CPU has a reason on the PSU, check the Capacitors on PSU. Or replace the Cabinet

Recover as in it is not connecting?

On page 3-13 of the manual it shows the correct connections. If you have not tested these connections, that should be your first step:

1) Three extension cables are needed to connect the MP20 to the LCP.
2) With an extension cable, connect 'Link1' port in the MP20 mounted on the base cabinet and the 'Link 1' port in LCP mounted in the extension cabinet.
3) With an extension cable, connect 'Link2' port in the MP20 and the 'Link 2' port in LCP .
4) With other cable, connect 'Link3' port in the MP20, and the 'Link 3' port in LCP.

I would test and verify the cables are good as well as their are not any bent pins on the cards.

The problem is that I have updated the card with the latest firmware and now the card does not work, so I need to recover the card.

Do you mean the boot eeprom, or the file on the cpu mmc Card.
Sometimes the mmc make troubles you can swap this ?
The format is very strong with limited Size.

You try the old lcp file ?
With Firmware you use, and its a 7400 or 7200 System.

The problem is that the LCP card is dead and I can't upload any firmware to it, so I need to recover it.

I don't understand you, I think we're not talking about the same thing.

The LCP has no firmware and no MMC slot. It only has a boot EEPROM.

What are we talking about? from the firmware on the MMC of the MP20 / MCP or do you mean the boot ROM?

Your card must contain the following files.

LPP*.pgm
MPS*.pgm

And the card must be formatted correctly, otherwise there will be reading errors and strange problems when starting.
They also haven't provided any information about the system, firmware version, hardware CPU

CPU type, MCP or MPXX

I assume you have an OS7200 because the LCP on an OS7400 is called LP40
