Hi,

We have a customer who has a Pin out Vodavi XTS - its on its last legs and was wondering if anyone services or can direct us on how to pull a pin out from the system.

I see there is a serial cable not sure if that is the interface but the idea is we are looking for a list of ext on each card - for example cabinet 6 card 3 port 4 is user 1005

Any direction would be appreciated.

Thank you

Sam

I believe the Manual is available here under Vodavi/Manuals as well as else where. Section D5 for Database Programming.

I also believe the following information is correct:

You will need HyperTerminal to access the database or extension 100. Either method requires a password. The default password is in the Manual, however if the password has been changed by the Installer (or Admin) you will need to use that one. If it has been changed and no one knows what it is, I don't believe there is a "backdoor" way to getting the system.

I think Flash 52 (Flexible Numbering Assignment) is the program you are looking for, it will show the station/port assignment:

STA 100 = Port 100,
STA 101 = Port 101.

This is default and is changeable if there happens to be a bad port on a card, for example:

STA 104 = Port 104,
STA 105 = Port 130,
STA 106 = Port 106

This is why you need to verify through programming INCASE something has been changed.

Perhaps someone else can verify this.

You can always connect a station to each port and dial 611 while the digital phone is idle. This will display the port number and the flexible extension number associated with the port. You can also dial 636, then enter a different extension number if you wish to change it. The only limitation is that the other extension number you wish to use cannot be in use elsewhere.
