Samsung IDCS16 / iDCS 18D - Can anyone tell me how to assign a trunk to one of the station buttons. Most of the extensions have the DT7xx and number, but a few only have DT with no number. I have looked through all the manuals I can find online but none of them seem to address assigning the CO trunk to a button. I have never worked on this system before and while I have figured out most things, this is still eluding me.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Sam

You will assign this in mmc 722. Example a DT or direct trunk needs an extender. So a line 1 key will be a DT701 key. When you enter DT, use the right soft key to move the cursor over and enter 701- 706 for whatever trunk you need.
You can access tech level programming correct?

Tech access is a the right question. So it appears the default tech access code has been changed. Is there a way to get around it without defaulting the entire system? Of course it appears that this is a pretty simple system with a couple of CO lines programmed to the first two keys and then the users have programmed various extensions to the other keys. I really appreciate your assistance.

Defaulting the system should give the trunk keys to all stations and the extensions. Like you said it's probably a pretty easy system and if you default then you'll have the password.
