Hey there. Been scouring the internet like crazy looking in particular for a copy of the late 80’s version of the Dukane MCS250 (not the newer 350 version).

It likely only exists in print given the age of the document but it has a particular page regarding the early model ACC’s the system used that I can’t find anywhere. Even from Carehawk who now owns the brand.

If anyone here can help please let me know.

Keep in mind I haven’t seen this particular document in a good 15 years and I looked like it was done on a typewriter and bound in a light blue cover. I remember a page that had a diagram of an early ACC with numbered labels pointing the various components of the ACC.

It’s that page I’m trying to find.

Sorry, the only thing I have that remotely comes close to what you are describing are these two images from the documentation.

Yeah, that’s the same diagram in the current install manual.

The operation manual I remember seeing was dated 1988 and I remember the ACC (I’m going to guess the first or second model of ACC) looking something like the sketch I attached. The shape of the unit was slightly different.

It’s finding anything, even pictures of the ACC1 or 2 that have proven difficult.

I wish you luck in your hunt. I have boxes of older Dukane docs here, I will keep my eyes peeled for it. I am curious -- what do you need this for?

Trying to build a working system and trying to find the early model ACC’s, but anything before the ACC4 doesn’t seem to exist.

It’s the ACC thing and trying to figure out how to access the menus in the system programming that are in the manuals but do not show up on the ACC screen that have been the most challenging parts.

That means there is a software mismatch between ACC and digital card. The ACCs are backwards compatible -- an ACC5 will work on MCS250.

I’ve seen those “Teradon” units before and never quite known what they are supposed to be, as they don’t quite look like the Dukane quality of every other piece, and there’s no reference to them in any documentation I’ve seen.

The issue I’m having in regards to the menus I figured might have something to do with the ACC.
The CCU software version is 4.05 as it’s a fairly recent MCS350 digital card, however I only have an ACC4 (first revision) and ACC4B. I have ordered an ACC5 in hopes it will solve the problem. It’s the menus for Program Tones, Program Inputs, Program Outputs, Call-In Mode and Call-In transfer that are not coming up on the ACC.

It sounds like you have an MCS350... I can confirm using an ACC4 on an MCS350 will not display all of the menus, you need an ACC4D or better for that. You should not use anything earlier, including the Teradon unit (although it would work!) with your MCS350.
