Hey folks,
I'm having a bear of a time getting follow me to work on this system 7100, 5.03
I have the find me in authorization set to yes. In the mclass, I've set it to allow outcall. In station - off premise I have the prefix set to 9 I can call into the mailbox and set the outgoing number The problem seems to be when it tries to make the outbound call. The activity log shows "Call progress result: Error - Call progress error" It does the same thing if If i have the ECLASS off premise station set to off premise or centrex. I have VMAA chain forward set to yes, and maximum chain forward set to 5
Port class everywhere is set to 1 with no toll restrictions...
What am i missing???

Ok, been troubleshooting this and the problem seems to be when the call goes to the extension from a menu. If the did is pointed to the extension, then it rings appropriately and instead of the mailbox picking up, it goes the follow me destination. If it is from a menu, it doesn't ring at the extension, it just tries to go to the follow me destination but fails with the Call progress error.

Logs, logs, logs... the logs will tell you what is going on. Are you using the follow me feature in the VM or the PBX feature for the extension?
Didn't see your first post... All done via VM.
Do you have any pauses in the station block for call out?

No, pauses. The dal block functions perfectly with just the centrex settings from the AA though....

2) [EXT 01 OpsFwd] Transfer to [EXT 01 OpsFwd] - <XXXXXXXXXX> CP 11:42.20.18 2) Using [STN Internal] station block CP 11:42.20.18 2) Transfer consultation hold CP 11:42.20.18 2) Flash hook CP 11:42.21.20 2) DCS Dial: XXXXXXXXXX CP 11:42.21.20 2) Monitoring call progress CP 11:42.21.24 2) Call progress result: Error - Call progress error
So still messing with this. I found that if I manually enter a 9 in the alternate number field the call goes through. The problem for this application is that I want the user to be able to update the entry remotely via their mailbox and the system won't accept a number starting with 9... grrrrr.
It seems like the issue may be that it is trying to use STN Internal station block.
Anybody know how I'd change that?

In the extension block you can didn't did the different types. You'll need to check the setup of the off premesis extension type to make sure it has the 9 in it

It does. The dial block from the menus works a treat using that setting, for some reason it's just the follow me that fails.
