I have customer (School) with a Alurtus System
Which is tied into the paging system
Working fine
They can type from there P.C. and it will come over the paging system
They are wondering when someone dials 911
All the phone beep
Can I have that come over the Alurtus System
This is kind of vague
Sorry

OK
I have some more details on this
customer is looking for a relay closer when someone dials 911 ...They just need the closer and they will take it from there
I have been trying to think of a way by using an external relay someone mentioned a wheel lock relay
They have a PRI but there is 1 POTS Line that the system grabs when someone dial 911
I know this seems a little a bit odd but these Alertus systems and others like it are going to be pretty common
Thanks
JD

Coral is right - get one of those from Viking and place it on an SLT port on the Aspire. Then in programming set that port to receive 911 notification. That should get you what you need.

How much do I owe you! ....
This should do the trick But wouldn’t I put this on the Analog Trunk as opposed to a Analog station port
I believe the only thing that use that copper lines is for the 911
I guess if I could use an analog extension that would be good too it’s just I don’t really understand how to do the E911 notification on a Analog extension
I will have to look into that but I’m sure Copperline this is great
Thanks!

I would definitely put this on the SLT rather than the CO line to prevent false alarms.
Test this first, but in the COS of the SLT port enable 20-08-16 (use a 1) Then in system options set the alarm timer in 21-01-13. I would set it to the max of 64800 seconds. Then when you want to disable the alarm you just dial 886.
Thanks, Daniel

I will have to test it on my bench system. I have done it on the I-Series which the Aspire is based on but it may have changed. I'll have to double check and get back to you.
